48 hours in Milan: first day of my #MFW

by Thursday, March 2, 2017

This season Milan Fashion Week was absolutely amazing because I could attend many shows and get in touch with designers and stylists.

I participated at the Fashion Week on the 25th and 26th of February and I had the opportunity of attending three shows and two presentations.

I was also outside the events of fashion maisons like Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, MSGM,  Ermanno Scervino and Missoni, were I had the opportunity of meeting many important people of the fashion industry ( for example I met Anna dello Russo and Anna Wintour) and many bloggers. I also got photographed by many photographers who were interested in sharing my outfits: in fact, for the second time, I’ve been published on Getty Images as part of the Milan Fashion Week Street Style Outfits!

Since I really appreciate fashion, fashion weeks are for me one of the most important occasions during the year; and it’s for this reason that I spent much time in planning the outfits I’m about to share with you.
In this article I will show you the first two outfits, in the next one you’ll discover the last one.

February 25th

For the first day of my fashion week, I chose to wear a black velvet dress above a denim blouse both from Storets; On my feet, I wore a pair of velvet embellished sandals from Zara and as accessories a silver box bag signed by the british brand Park Lane, a 100% wool beret and silver hair rings to decorate my fishtail braid.

Cividini

When I arrived in Milan, the first event I attended was the Cividini show.

Outside Cividini event

The Cividini collection was about a mix of cultures, unification and equality. The main pattern was a black revisitation of the military camouflage print and particular details were the fur embellished socks and white bandanas knotted around bags which symbolized the support of Cividini for #TiedTogether

Le Silla

The next event was the presentation of Le Silla shoes. This brand has Always produced fabulous and fairy shoes which I’ve Always adored. Le Silla are the shoes every girl would have Always wanted: they are femenine, fashionable and chic.

For this season the brand took inspiration from the circus patterns and geometries.

Elisabetta Franchi

At night I attended the Elisabetta Franchi show. Elisabetta Franchi is an italian fashion brand directed by the homonymus Elisabetta, which produces elegant and refined dresses for women. This event was the highlight of my Fashion Week as it was one of the most important shows of the week.

For the event I  wore a long black dress with veiled gown and embellished net bustier and a pair of velvet braided sandals from Truffle, a nice british brand.

To complete the look I used 24k gold foils to brighten my hairstyle and make me shine!

I hope you enjoyed the article!
